Higher Symmetry Software has released v. 1.10 of NoteScribe, an affordable Windows 2000/XP/Vista note-taking program for creating, storing, and organizing notes on your computer.
NoteScribe is a note-taking and organizational program developed to assist students, professors, researchers or anyone else in the organization of their notes, papers, study materials or any other digital information they choose to manage.
NoteScribe utilizes an easy to use categories system which enhances a student’s hierarchal organizational skills and increases the efficiency of their study time. Also, by physically entering study material into NoteScribe, a student will better retain the information they have learned, while building a quickly accessible database of information which will increase the efficiency and organization of paper composition.
NoteScribe makes finding notes and ideas a breeze. Users can assign categories, sources, and key words to their notes and then search for notes using any of these functions. NoteScribe also includes a Global Search Function allowing users to search through all of their notes by entering a word or phrase in a search bar.
In addition to creating and storing notes, NoteScribe contains a citation and bibliography generator designed to ease the process or creating bibliographies for research papers. The program also allows sharing of notes through an easy to use import/export feature which will increase collaboration of students or employees working together for study groups, papers, or projects.
A fully functional 30-day trial of NoteScribe is available at http://www.NoteScribe.net. Program registration is a one-time fee of $21.12 (US), which may be completed from the company’s web site. This fee includes free access to all future program updates.
