MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.–Intuit Inc., supporting California first lady Maria Shriver’s WE Connect campaign, today launched the Federal WEb Connector, a free, online tool that helps people nationwide determine their eligibility and apply for five of the most valuable federal benefit programs. The company donated the tool through its philanthropic Financial Freedom Foundation.
Intuit created and donated the Federal WEb Connector, which simplifies the process of determining eligibility for the Earned Income Tax Credit, Federal Child Tax Credit, Federal Child and Dependent Care Expenses Credit, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and the Women, Infants and Children Program.
“For more than 25 years, we’ve set our sights on taking complex tasks and making them simple,” said Brad Smith, president and CEO of Intuit. “The Federal WEb Connector helps hard-working individuals and families across the country save and make money. This donation reflects our commitment to care and give back to communities.”
