Outlook-Sync now includes a spam filter as free update

Dormagen, Germany – December 10, 2008: Using Microsoft Outlook on the desktop and notebook computer is the safe road to chaos. Murphy’s Law guarantees that the important contacts and the new e-mails are always stored on the wrong computer. The synchronization software Easy2Sync for Outlook solves this problem by detecting any change made in Outlook and transferring it to the respective other computer. This works with calendars, contacts, notes, tasks and e-mails.

For the latter, the new version 2.05 includes a unique feature: It’s the first sync program to include a spam filter. The filter is already trained and requires no configuration whatsoever. During the sync, spam e-mails are automatically recognized and skipped. This saves the user not only from viewing the thousands enlargement or gambling e-mails, it also preserves hard disk space and speeds up the synchronization, since less e-mails need to be transferred. Especially for the popular netbooks the big Outlook PST files can otherwise easily become a problem.

The new spam filter extends the long list of features in Easy2Sync for Outlook:
– Sync of PST files of any size (and of Exchange accounts)
– Synchronizes e-mails, contacts, calendars, notes and tasks
– Synchronizes complete accounts or just selected folders
– Filters by age, category, “private” flag or subject
– Apart from synchronizing the program also supports copying, moving, etc.
– Multiple calendars can be merged into a team calendar
– All versions / combinations since Outlook 97 / Windows 98 are supported
– This includes support for Vista and Outlook 2007

The update is free for all registered users of Easy2Sync for Outlook 1.x or 2.x

Pricing and Availability: Easy2Sync for Outlook 2.05 runs under Windows 98, MT, NT, 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista and costs $49 (USD) for a home edition license and $79 (USD) for a business edition. Registered customers are entitled to the unlimited functionality, free updates and lifetime technical support.
