Houston, TX — Briggs Softworks announces the release of Poker Mavens
2.0, a play-money poker software system that lets friends, family,
co-workers, club members, or even the general public play Texas Hold’em
against each other over the Internet or a local area network. Game
administrators can run a private server, a public server, or a
combination system with passwords on selected tables.
New for Version 2.0 is the addition of ring (cash) games, multi-table
tournaments, user accounts, and a player client that runs in any
Flash-enabled web browser. The Flash file is automatically served to
each player when connected so no software needs to be installed on the
client end.
The Poker Mavens server runs on any Windows system from 98 to Vista and
is available in a single-table Lite version for $29.95 and a multi-table
Pro version for $99.95. The Pro version also supports custom graphics
options, banner ads, and remote administration. Both versions support an
optional listing in the Poker Mavens server directory located at
http://www.PokerMavens.net.
